Slate doubles up in Tulsa NHRA Division 4 event!
TULSA, Okla. – Three days of action packed racing concluded today at Tulsa Raceway Park for round four of the 2012 NHRA South Central division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. This event turned out to be a good showing for team Moser as Slate doubled up with wins in Stock and Super Stock. Jody Simoneaux (driver for the Cummings team) also runnerd up in Stock. Larry Cummings (team owner and the driving force behind the operations) made it to the Quarter Finals.
Team Mosers winning also continued at the grass roots level with Team Moser R&D chief Tim Irwin at Bunker Hill!
Tim competed at the Bunker Hill 5.70 Pro Tree Race at Bunker Hill and walked away with a win. What started out as a way to hone his pre race and staging routine and tune the car ended up being a winning weekend. The whole Moser Team runs to Chicago for the NHRA national event and the the Jeg’s All-Star race. Everyone seems to be peaking right now and with the busy race schedule coming up it couldnt be happening at a better time.
