The new M9 Drag housings are made from 1/8” thick laser cut mild steel (a chrome-moly version is available upon request). What differentiates the M9 Drag housing from others brands available is the fact the Moser M9 Drag is fabricated from one triangulated piece of metal. This helps reduce deflection caused from torsional force at launch, which helps with a straighter and more consistent launch. Other standard strengthening components added to the Moser M9 Drag housing include internal gussets and bulk heads, and a 3/8” thick face plate. Also included are custom machined fill and drain vent, stud kit, and installed housing ends. Don’t settle for weak racing rear ends. Upgrade to the best!

Portland, IN – Moser Engineering is proud to announce today that NHRA has accepted our new 8 3/4 Stamped housing for use in the Stock Eliminator Classes. The new Moser 8 ¾” unit has all of the strength you would expect from a Moser Engineering built rear. Moser built the new piece using the same material and strength engineered into our heavy duty stamped housings and also incorporated the benefits of the 3/8” thick faceplate used in our MO875. It features 3” O.D. tubes made from seamless ¼” wall D.O.M steel. The units are available with all new complete center sections and either bare or with any spring perch location. Plus, for anyone lucky enough to have one, the rears are also available with all the brackets to work with the stock suspension in a LC22R Challenger Drag Package Car.

With the addition of the new 8 ¾” rear to go along with our always popular Moser 60 housings, Moser Engineering can now make sure you have the right rear for your Stock Eliminator car regardless of what class you are running and whether you have an automatic or stick shift transmission.

With this approval from NHRA along with other organizations that will be announced soon, it is easy to see why Moser Engineering is leading the way in bringing along the components racers need for the newest performance vehicles. MOSER ENGINEERING DELIVERS THE MOST RELIABLE 35 SPLINE 9” GEAR DIFFERENTIAL AVAILABLE

  

Portland, Indiana – Moser Engineering is proud to announce a partnership with Autotech Corporation. Moser Engineering will be the sole distributor in North America for the “Made in the USA” Innovative 35 spline Wavetrac Differential for 9” Ford style applications.

 

This is the strongest unit available and also boasts a Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers use in a motorsports environment. Moser Engineering was sold on the Wavetrac once we tested and tried to break the units in our fleet of race vehicles. They not only passed our tests but performed flawlessly.

With the economical horsepower available in today’s market it has been hard to supply a street capable differential that could not only handle the horsepower but give smooth and worry free operation even under drag race conditions. The “Made in the USA” built Wavetrac is the first reliable diff to be made available to the 9” users that allows the use of a 35 spline axle and doesn’t have the noise and harshness of a locker style unit. These attributes make this the only choice for a street/strip machine.

 

This unit is different than any other torque biasing diff design because it works in low or no traction conditions that would stop other designs in their tracks. The Wavetrac units are made from 9310 steel gears run in a case-hardened Billet steel bodies and use high quality ARP fasteners. The unit is designed to be maintenance free and this means that as supplied new, the Wavetrac differential will perform a lifetime of service without maintenance or rebuilds. The unit is also customizable and if desired, you can alter the diff’s behavior to suit your needs using optional components.

 

This design really opens up the possibilities for dual purpose race cars. This 35 spline design when coupled with an M9 housing and a pair of Moser Engineering Custom Alloy axles will give you years of worry free operation.
