Moser Engineering offers The ultimate Autocross Housing and Brake option packages for those who want to take their street car to the top level of performance and competition. One of the hottest trends in the street market is the Ultimate Street Car Challenges type events held at many car shows or Goodguys type shows. These competitions can be on a drag strip, an air field, road course or even a very tight obstacle course in a parking lot. These also tend to be some of the most enjoyable and also some of the most abusive events for a car owner. This package is built to handle all of these events without compromise. When it comes to making your street car or street rod perform at the top of its ability then you need the Moser Autocross package. This kit gives you the ability to deliver the power reliably to the ground. It also allows you to get the best performance from your brakes without brake kickback common from a flanged axle when used in extreme and very aggressive handling car packages. This kit is an adaptation of a full on Pro Auto Cross style rear-end and can be fitted to work with stock suspension or most aftermarket setups. This is available as an upgrade option for any of the Moser packages. This would include any of the housing and axle packages, complete rear end assemblies along with the Muscle Pak line of rear ends.

The Moser AUTO CROSS REAR is a Full Floating Rear End that is designed for multipurpose performance applications. especially those applications that require high g-load cornering including; Auto-Cross, Road Racing and Street Racing! The Moser Hub assembly provides the stability needed for a solid brake pedal entering corners after a high side load that can be compromised by flanged and/or c-clip axle movement.

Wilwood's Combination Parking Brake (CPB) Hydra-Mechanical Caliper uses hydraulic pressure for stopping and a mechanical locking mechanism for a parking brake. This redesigned unit provides new options for drum brake conversions and disc upgrades on rear axles that are not conducive to internal shoe systems. This caliper, when matched with the correctly proportionate rotor diameter, provides balanced bias and brake performance for use in conjunction with front wheel brake upgrades. The default calipers are the Wilwood CPB (120-10112/3-BK) that is a single piston floating design that attaches to a fixed radial mount bracket. The floating mount allows the caliper to maintain perfect alignment when the cable actuated mechanical parking brake lock is engaged and then released. The floating mount also keeps the caliper in correct alignment over the disc and prevents excessive pad knock-back on c-clip rear axles with measurable side play. As the pads wear, the caliper remains centered over the disc. Radial mounting provides nearly unlimited attachment options. The parking brake lock is cable actuated. Connections are made with common cable ends that use a 1/2" cable housing end on the stop bracket, and a 1/8" to 9/64" cable with a crimped or welded ball end. The caliper will accept the OE cable on some vehicles. For other vehicles, new cable ends can be ordered to adapt the caliper to the vehicle's original cable system. For custom installations, aftermarket hand brake kit suppliers can easily configure the cable with the correct attachment end. Standard rotors are the Wilwood's Ultralitet UL straight 32 vane rotors (160-5844) provide high value performance and rugged durability for a wide range of competition, high performance, and sport driving applications. Don't confuse these rotors with bargain priced off-brand named parts. Wilwood's modern manufacturing capability, combined with large scale economy, make it possible to offer this level of quality and performance at such an affordable price. These can be upgraded to the SRP Drilled Performance Rotors (160-7103/4-BK) feature a specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improve brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung suspension weight.

For those wanting the ultimate in performance The Competition Calipers are the Narrow Dynapro Lug Mount. Narrow Mount DynaPro (NDP) forged billet calipers (120-9732) represent the next generation of calipers available as an upgrade or direct replacement for the popular Narrow Mount Dynalite model series with 3.50" mounting. NDP calipers combine superior strength with several new performance enhancements to make these the best "Dyna" series calipers ever built.
