Moser Engineering Pro Drag Disc Brakes

Moser Engineering announces the release of a revolutionary new standard for safety and performance in pro drag disc brake kits. We started with a clean sheet of paper when it came to the R&D of this caliper, rotor and hat design. Beginning with the caliper, Moser Engineering designed a competition race series 4 piston aluminum anodized forged billet caliper made of 6061 T6 billet aluminum instead of a cheaper cast caliper. The anodized calipers help eliminate corrosion and preventable wear.  A dual pin is used for pad retention and o-rings are used to eliminate pad chatter. Stainless steel pistons & Teflon coated one piece bleeder screws are included in the design with dual crossover ports for quicker fluid release on the outboard pistons. Another Moser feature is the caliper and rotor design that allow for 25% more pad contact area than other calipers and allow for a 20% thicker pad than most of the competition. The kit ships with industry leading Hawk pads that lean on their years of expertise in racing brake pad design and compounds. For the revolutionary rotor/hat design we designed a 2 piece keyed, slotted and drilled rotor combined with a hat that utilizes a spiral retaining ring to help allow more radial growth during high temp cycles than the competing designs already in the market. This helps to reduce the sticking, warping and belvilleing that occur in most other designs under heavy braking. Our Caliper along with the keyed rotor and hat design has over 4 years of R&D and track testing to assure reliability and performance. Ask any racer who is using these kits and you will find that this kit instills confidence like no other kit on the market. So when you are looking for the new standard in Race Ready Pro Disc Brake Kits contact Moser Engineering.

MOSER ENGINEERING DELIVERS THE MOST RELIABLE 8.8” DIFFERENTIAL AVAILABLE

Portland, Indiana – Moser Engineering is proud to once again announce a partnership with Autotech Corporation. Moser Engineering will be the sole distributor in North America for the “Made in the USA” Innovative 33 spline Wavetrac Differential for 8.8” Ford style differential applications.

This is the strongest unit available and also boasts a Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers use in a motorsports environment. Moser Engineering was sold on the Wavetrac once we tested and tried to break the units in our fleet of race vehicles. They not only passed our tests but performed flawlessly.

With the economical horsepower available in today’s market it has been hard to supply a street capable differential that could not only handle the horsepower but give smooth and worry free operation even under drag race conditions. The “Made in the USA” built Wavetrac is the first reliable diff to be made available to the 8.8 Ford users that allows the use of a 33 spline axle and doesn’t have the noise and harshness of a locker style unit. These attributes make this the only choice for a street/strip machine.

This unit is different than any other torque biasing diff design because it works in low or no traction conditions that would stop other designs in their tracks. The Wavetrac units are made from 9310 steel gears run in a case-hardened Billet steel bodies and use high quality ARP fasteners. The unit is designed to be maintenance free and this means that as supplied new, the Wavetrac differential will perform a lifetime of service without maintenance or rebuilds. The unit is also customizable and if desired, you can alter the diff’s behavior to suit your needs using optional components.

This design really opens up the possibilities for dual purpose race cars. This 33 spline design when coupled with Moser Engineering Custom Alloy axles will give you years of worry free operation. With Moser Engineering’s expertise we can help you design a rear for your car that will not only handle the horsepower that you are building but make your car drive and handle life on the road as well as it handles life on the track. Combine this “Made in America” design with your “Made in America” Moser Axles and Housings and you will have a unit that will handle the toughest of conditions.

Moser Engineering Junior medium thumb

Moser Engineering is set to Debut it’s New Junior Dragster for 2010 season with Max Moser as the team driver. The 2010 American Race Cars Junior sports the Moser Engineering team colors and is a fine example of the quality of Junior that is available in todays market. The car uses the newest and safest Moser Engineering Junior Dragster axle assembly available so that your son or daughter can be as safe as possible when piloting one of these machines down the track. The most exciting part about Moser Engineering getting involved is the Moser Mega Money program that will be offered at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio. We are extending this rich program to the Junior Class during every weekend event so that the kids can compete for the same payout that their parents are competing for. A possible $750 payout for the racer that runs a Moser Axle Assembly and has the proper stickers on the car.
